Marília Conti Higa is a PhD student in Law at NOVA School of Law and has worked as a project manager (Intra-Africa project Pax Lusófona), at the Faculty of Law of Universidade Agostinho Neto.

She has a degree in Law from the University of Uberaba and a Specialization degree in Public Administration Law from the Federal University of Uberlândia. She was a professor at Faculdade de Talentos Humanos/MG – Brazil, having been responsible for the subjects of Constitutional Law and Scientific Methodology. She was also Coordinator of Especialisation Courses, president of the Center for Accessibility and Social Inclusion and reviewer of the Journal “Facthus Jurídica”.

She is currently conducting research in the area of ​​Legal Research Methodology and Theory of Law, focusing her thesis on the methodological quality of scientific production in Law and its relationship with the progress of Law as a science.

João Marques de Azevedo has a degree in Political Science and International Relations (2017) from the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of Universidade Nova de Lisboa. He is a postgraduate in Law, specializing in International and European Law (New School of Law) and is currently a final year student of a Masters in International and European Law at the Nova School of Law.

He is also a researcher at CEDIS (R&D Center on Law and Society) and at the Space Law Research Center (SPARC – CEDIS). He is a member at NPOC of the European Center for Space Law (ECSL) and a member of the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC). He was a trainee in the Strategic Department of the Member States Relations and Partnerships Office (DG-SM) of the European Space Agency (ESA). He was a scholarship holder within the Intra África Pax Lusófona project and he is the current Executive Secretary at NOVA Refugee Clinic – Legal Clinic
